Painted Garden Posts, 2025
Pollard Middle School in Needham

 
 

I worked with Needham teens in March and April 2025 to design and paint new painted garden posts for the entrance of Pollard Middle School. 25+ students helped create these posts and colorful braided ropes to brighten their outdoor garden area. This program was sponsored in part by funding from Needham Community Action Network, and from a grant from the Needham Council for Arts and Culture, a local agency which is supported by the Town of Needham and the Mass Cultural Council, a state agency. Huge thanks to Charly Nanda for being an amazing partner and helping make this whole project happen!
