About the Artist

I am an artist, art therapist, and community muralist based out of Vernon Street Studios in Somerville. I am constantly involved in working on a number of projects including teaching art classes, consulting with community organizations, and engaging various communities in creating murals. Though I specialize in working with at-risk youth, I have taught various art classes to ages 3 - 60 in a range of settings and utilizing a number of different modalities and materials. My work has been exhibited in local businesses, independent galleries, and Open Studios since 2003; and my  mural projects have been empowering communities since 2005. Current local murals exist in Somerville, Waltham, Brookline, Boston, Dorchester, East Boston, Arlington, Jamaica Plain, Newton, Roxbury, and Malden as well as international murals in Argentina, China and Panama.

I welcome any comments and/or inquiries about my work and would really appreciate any donations of scrap wood that you might otherwise think to throw away.

Check out my calendar of past and upcoming shows in the About the Art section and more information about my community mural projects in the Gallery section. Thanks for visiting!
